Meet our new business development manager, Dominique White
Meet the team – Business Development Manager, Dominique White
Our team is made up of experienced and skilled professionals. To help businesses achieve the water purity and safety they need, we have a dedicated customer team.
The journey to purer water begins by talking to our team about your needs. Our new Business Development Manager, Dominique, will be helping customers do exactly this. She recently joined the team, and to mark the occasion, we spent a few minutes talking to Dominique about her role:
Q. How long have you been with Excel Water?
Only a few weeks! There’s a lot to learn but it’s fantastic to be part of such a knowledgeable team.
Q. What does your role involve?
I’m doing business development and sales, speaking to businesses who want to improve their water quality. Every water treatment system is different and built around the needs of the company. It’s my job to make sure businesses get the information and advice they need right away.
Q. What do you enjoy most about it?
So far, I’ve been enjoying learning about water treatment and how the different systems work. I’m particularly interested in the mechanics of it all. It’s amazing seeing how systems come together to produce high quality pure water.
Q. Is there anything that appealed to you about working at Excel Water?
After years working in finance, I’m excited to take on a fresh challenge and learn something completely new. When I met with Emma and Darren, I liked the sound of where the business is going and their ideas for my role.
Q. What are your initial observations about how the team work?
They are a very close-knit team and everyone gets involved. It’s evident that Excel work extremely hard to provide their customers with the best service possible.
Q. What are you most looking forward to learning about over the coming weeks and months?
My aim is to build my knowledge of water treatment to the point where I can confidently speak to new potential customers about the process. There’s a lot to know, but I can fall back on the decades of experience of the team and learn from the current projects we’re working on.
Q. What do you like doing when you’re not working?
Pre-pandemic, I spent a lot of time in the gym attending different classes such as spin or pump. Post pandemic, I’ve become a bit of a telly addict! But most of all, I love to go on long walks with my young family and labradoodle, Arnie, and cooking food for everyone.
